The Civil Registration Service of the HSE maintains the registers of births, marriages and deaths within Ireland. You can register a birth, death or marriage in any registration office in the Republic of Ireland, no matter where the event takes place in the state.

Certificates
You can obtain a birth, marriage or death certificate from any registration office in the Republic of Ireland, no matter where the birth, death or marriage was originally registered in the state.
